... I was really pissed when I read the first part of this page. ...I hate it when someone is this right... BR - Denver, CO

HirMon’s lowest price "website" is $75 for a one time setup for one year, then a $35 subscription fee per year renewal after the first year.
It is a one page website, in static, text-only format (no CMS) with your logo (if any) included and complete with community web hosting, a domain name, account maintenance and - nothing else - not even a contact page (email links are included, however).
Oh, are you finding yourself horribly disappointed, feel "had" or are muttering something about "deceptive advertising," well, congratulations!
You did it to yourself...
Now - learn from it... (Jeez! Who’s writing this?!)
What is described above is, by definition, a website.
The "problem," if you can call it that, is your perception of what your website should be compared to what is described. They are probably radically different.
And that perception of a "bargain" is the point:
Rarely do you get what you think you are paying for when you get a website developed.
Someone quoting a fixed price for any website work without your input about your needs and requirements - is simply selling you something.
Unless a website developer is willing to work with you to create the best possible presentation for a business or organization - you will probably end up settling for "second best" whether you want to or not.
Among other things - that is what makes HirMon different. We work with you. The fact that we also teach our clients how to use their sites effectively - is included.
If you came here from the home page of this site, click here to go back...
FYI: In case you are curious, though, these "placeholder" websites do have some valid uses:
- To establish an (albeit very limited) website presence
- Get a domain name registered with major search engines
- A work-around for PayPal’s limitation of one "business name" per account
The latter is how HirMon uses this type of page most often.
Unfortunately, setting up such a scenario that would allow a single PayPal account as an "umbrella" account that could easily service an unlimited number of websites (or other business endeavors), requires that the page be set up as an "actual website" with it’s own web hosting.
That is a problem because most website owners are hesitant to pay an annual web hosting fee just for a one page website!
You can’t blame them - and neither do we!
That’s why HirMon has gone out of its way to find the very best web hosting possible and - one that allows up to 25 separate websites to be run under one account (probably closer to 100 or more, but anyone that needs more that has other issues...) In other words, if one (actually 3) of our clients need a PayPal umbrella account - it costs them only for the setup of the page. There is no extra charge for web hosting just to run a "single page website."
And, believe it or not, we do have one client that elected to go the "next step up," which is a full graphic rendition of a single page.
