Whoever said No, you can't do that on a website was an idiot.

There is a lot of "free" and for-pay software available for website use on the Internet. Don't get us wrong! Some of it is pretty good! There is only one problem:

Your chances of finding free software to do exactly what you want/need it to do is somewhere between slim and none.

For example, try finding something on the Internet that will:

• Sell tickets online to a limited-run theater performance and tell visitors how many are left for each performance date.

• Do custom event registrations (with online payment built in)

• Do partial or fully automated gift certificate creation on a website.

• Create a non-Disclosure agreement online (or other PDF files)

• Do a two-tiered navigation menu without drop-down boxes.

• Put a Google™ map on your website that you can update yourself.

• Allow your clients to pay your invoices or make deposits online.

• Sell "yard goods" on a website (like fabrics, or any other products that are usually sold by the "yard" !).

• Do something as simple as post an announcement or publish Store Hours onto a website without a degree in rocket science.

JavaScripting for web pages
	JavaScript is a programming system for web pages that allows special features to be done that are not possible with "straight" web page code alone. Examples: All the menus at the top of this page were written in-house for site navigation. The presentation of this page (open and close sections) is JavaScript controlled and is turning out to be a great way to break down long pieces of information into "bite-sized" (readable) chunks. Even the tiny email form at the bottom of the page uses JavaScript to identify the page visitors are responding to (by name).

PHP/MySQL for complete websites, applications or spot usage needs
	PHP (PHP: Hypertext Preprocessor) is a programming language used to create applications on a website's server that are used within web pages. MySQL is a database system used to store/retrieve data; typically the method of choice for saving data entered into PHP programs. Examples: The quotation that appears at the top of this page is a random selection from web-based quotes that is inserted dynamically into this page. The online application includes full Administrative component, allowing addition of new quotes, removal of quotes and a fully-integrated text processor. This entire website is PHP based (see your browser's address box; all pages end with a .php file extension). Also available: Creation of online PDF files from web-based forms is a specialty of ours. Completion of formatted Word/WordPerfect compatible documents from web-based forms. Web-site add-ons for use as-is or customized further for client's needs
	A website add-on is a software package installed on a website to perform a specific function. See the examples which follow. 	The ability to make website software work within a website‘s design is called -- Integration. Essentially that means that when visitors use the function, it appears as an integral part of a web page‘s design and not as a separate "stand-alone" process. The value of such a technique cannot be overstated. Most designers install special packages (such as a shopping cart, calendar, photo gallery) and leave it at that: whatever the display looks like is what the visitor sees (an rarely anything like the rest of the website). Flash™, Music, Video -
	HirMon & Associates also provides: Flash movie creation - for use on websites, but not entire Flash sites (due to problems search engines have including them in their listings). Music - From you CD or DVD we can create full or sound clips of songs, narrations and other vocal enhancements for use on a website. Steaming audio is provided when required for longer selections. Video - Including YouTube presentations as part of a website. We do not do in-house video productions, but can supply referrals.

Unless specified otherwise, all programming is based on a charge of $100/hour, one hour minimum and additional time over 1 hour billed in 15 minutes increments. Proposals for several work options performed at one time will include a cost savings of approximately 20%.
